At BB&T, our employees are trained to fully understand the financial needs of our clients — not just sell products. The LDP seeks to recruit candidates from colleges and universities who possess the appropriate mix of core capabilities and personal characteristics to position them for success. We look for enthusiasm, initiative, a general knowledge of the banking industry, as well as problem-solving skills, and leadership potential. Our thorough selection process ensures that both BB&T and the Leadership Associate will benefit from the relationship.

The Retail Concentration trains you in every area of branch operations and retail lending. As a Retail Associate, you will receive training that prepares you for a position as a Retail Services Officer or Banking Network Branch Manager/Financial Center Manager. Candidates for the Retail LDP concentration will receive classroom training in Winston-Salem, regional on-the-job training, and will work at branches throughout BB&T's footprint.

Business, Mortgage, Private Banking, and Corporate Concentration Associates will train at our Winston-Salem facility for careers in our Banking Network and corporate areas.
