Company-Required or Continuing Education
A number of ongoing and continuing education opportunities are available at BB&T through the BB&T University as well as through professional affiliations. In addition, employees who receive management approval and successfully complete work-related courses are eligible for 100 percent reimbursement or prepayment of related costs.

Formal Degree Programs
BB&T formal degree programs provide the opportunity for employees to pursue undergraduate degrees or graduate degrees. Employees who receive management approval to participate in the formal degree programs are eligible for reimbursement of related costs. Criteria for reimbursement and service agreement requirements vary based on whether the employee pursues a graduate or undergraduate degree.
