The vision of the BB&T Supplier Diversity Program is to be the "Best of the Best," perpetuating and enhancing BB&T core values through leadership in supplier diversity. We do this in many ways, including providing opportunities for certified diverse suppliers to participate in the vendor selection process, tracking and monitoring spend among our diverse supplier base, and supporting the community through participation in diverse supplier events at the local, regional, and national levels. We encourage suppliers to register with the Ariba Supplier Network (ASN) at supplier.ariba.com. We actively search the Ariba Network for prospective suppliers, and invite eligible suppliers to participate in sourcing events.
