BB&T's EasySend is the easiest way to send money internationally. EasySend uses a simple, secure card that you send to your recipient out of the country. All you have to do is deposit or transfer funds to your EasySend account with BB&T, and the recipient cardholder can withdraw money in the local currency at any ATM with the PLUS logo, anywhere in the world.

  • Send money internationally to your family and friends for less
  • Enjoy lower rates than those offered by many international money transfer agencies
  • Just open an EasySend account with BB&T and 7 - 10 business days later you'll receive your recipient card in the mail
  • Send the card and the instructions on how to use it to your recipient
  • When you receive confirmation that your recipient has received the card call 1-866-785-3614 to activate it
Easy to Receive Money
  • Recipients only pay the exchange rate fee, no additional charges*
  • The exchange rate fee is waived if the sender has a BB&T Checking account, Savings account, or MyLink Card
  • Recipients receive the money as local currency
  • Recipients can withdraw money from any ATM with the PLUS logo
  • Recipients are the only ones authorized to use the card to carry out transactions
Easy to Transfer Funds Add funds to your EasySend card by depositing or transferring money to your EasySend account:
  • From any BB&T branch
  • From BB&T Phone24
  • From BB&T OnLine®
Use and Service Charges If you have an EasySend account and a BB&T Checking or Savings account, or a BB&T MyLink Card:
  • $15 charge for card replacement from theft or loss
  • $5 Inactivity charge effective after six months of inactivity
  • Five free calls to an EasySend representative per statement cycle
  • $2 charge per call after five calls per statement cycle
If you have an EasySend account and do not have a BB&T Checking or Savings account, or a BB&T MyLink Card:
  • $5 Account opening fee
  • $5 Account funding fee
  • 2% Exchange rate deducted on withdrawal*
  • $15 charge for card replacement from theft or loss
  • $5 Inactivity charge effective after six months of inactivity
  • Five free calls to an EasySend representative per statement cycle
  • $2 charge per call after five calls per statement cycle
Limits for Deposit and Withdrawal
  • $1,000 maximum deposit at each attempt
  • $25 minimum deposit at each attempt
  • $2,500 maximum amount deposited in a 30 day period
  • $2,500 maximum balance on your EasySend card
  • $1,000 maximum daily withdrawal
*The ATM owner may charge additional fees.
