How do I back up my BankAtlantic account history from Online Banking?

There are two options available to you for providing your history:

  • Downloading your prior Online Banking account statements; and
  • Exporting your transaction history

To download your prior statements, please follow these steps:

  1. Log on to Online Banking.
  2. Select “Statements” from the menu.

  3. Select the account number from the drop-down list and then click “Submit.”
  4. Click the PDF icon for the statement date desired.
  5. Save the PDF to a folder on your local drive.
  6. Close the PDF and repeat for each statement you wish to retain.

To export your transaction history, please follow these steps:

  1. Log on to Online Banking.
  2. Select “Accounts” from the menu.
  3. Select “Export” from the sub-menu.

  4. Select the account number from the drop-down list and then select your desired date range.
  5. Select the export format (MS Money, Quicken, QuickBooks or select “CSV” to create a comma-delimited text file).

    Note:  You can only export the amount of history that is available within the Online Banking system (maximum history possible is up to 24 months).  Selecting MS Money, Quicken or QuickBooks will use WebConnect method to import your transactions into your Personal Financial Management software.  By selecting “CSV,” you can then import this information into a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel, or load into an Accounting application of your choice.

How do I export my BankAtlantic bill pay history from Online Banking?

To export a comma-separated (“CSV”) file of your payment history, please follow these steps:
  1. Log into Online Banking and select “Payments” from your menu.
  2. Select “Bill History.”
  3. Using the filters, select the amount of payment history you wish to download.

  4. Scroll down to bottom of page and select “Download Payments.”

  5. Click “OK” on the confirmation message.

  6. Select “Save” to store to a folder on your local drive.

How do I copy my Payees from my Bill Pay?

To print a listing of your payees:
  1. Go to the Payment Center within Online Banking Bill Pay.
  2. From your payee listing, select a payee and the payee information will display in the “Payment Assistant” window.
    NOTE:  For security purposes, the account number associated with the payee is masked.  Please refer to your statement or invoice for this information.

  3. Hold down your “Alt” key and press “Print Screen” on your keyboard.  This will copy the image into your clipboard.
  4. Open a Word document or Word Pad.
  5. Select “Edit” and “Paste” to past the image within the Word document.

  6. Repeat for each payee listed.
    1. Log into BankAtlantic’s Online Banking.
    2. Click Online Payroll from the menu.
    3. Click on Help tab.
    4. Choose “How do I?”
    5. Choose the category Export to Accounting Software.
    6. Choose the article that fits the accounting software to which you will export.

      Beginning on October 15, 2012, you can enroll for BB&T’s Online Payroll service.

    4. Quicken, 2005 or higher
    5. Microsoft Excel, 2002 or later

Access to BankAtlantic’s Online Payroll will be disabled on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 5 p.m. ET.

In order to complete your payroll and/or tax payments for October 12 processing, please be sure to follow the timeline below:

*If this is your first file, you must submit five business days prior to the effective date.

Exporting Instructions:

Prior to the Online Payroll deactivation date, it is strongly recommended that you export your information as you will no longer be able to access this data after 10/10/12 at 5 p.m. ET.

Online Payroll integrates with the following products:

  • QuickBooks, 2007 or higher
  • QuickBooks Mac, 2006 or higher
  • QuickBooks Online
  • Quicken, 2005 or higher
  • Microsoft Excel, 2002 or later

Note: Online Payroll does NOT integrate with QuickBooks Simple Start or Quicken Starter Edition.

To setup the export function, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into BankAtlantic’s Online Banking.
  2. Click Online Payroll from the menu.
  3. Click on Help tab.
  4. Choose “How do I?”
  5. Choose the category Export to Accounting Software.
  6. Choose the article that fits the accounting software to which you will export.
