- Enjoy the lowest annual percentage rates of any card we offer.
- You'll never pay an annual fee1 to use your BB&T Platinum credit card.
- You'll receive a 0% Introductory Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for 12 months, followed by a low variable APR of 8.15% to 14.15%, on purchases and balance transfers.
- Your payments will be applied in the following order: interest, fees and balances from highest to lowest APR, and you'll always have 25 days to pay your bill.
- Your late payment fees will never be more than your total minimum payment due, and there's no penalty pricing—your APR will never change due to a late payment.
- You'll pay just a 3.0% ($10 minimum) fee for each balance transfer.

1 Transaction, Penalty and Other Applicable Fees:
- Balance Transfers: 3% of each advance ($10 minimum).
- Cash Advances: 3% of each advance ($10 minimum).
- Foreign Transactions: 3% of the U.S. dollar amount of each transaction made in a foreign currency and any transaction made in U.S. dollars that is processed outside of the United States.
- Late Payments: Your account will be charged a late fee of up to $25.00 the first time your payment is not received by the due date. After that, any late payment during the next six billing cycles will result in a late fee of up to $35.00. No late fee will be more than your Total Minimum Payment due.
- Statement Copies: $5 per statement, with a $100 maximum per occurrence.
- Customer Requested Expedited Services: $25.
