1Daily monitoring will notify members of any new inquiries, derogatory information, accounts, public records or change of address that have been added to their Experian credit report, one of the major credit reporting agencies. If no information has been added or changed, then the member will receive a quarterly notification stating that no information has changed within their credit file.
2Neither BB&T, its third party service providers, its credit information subcontractors, nor Financial Services Association shall have any liability for the accuracy of the information contained in the Experian credit report or monitoring reports that you receive, including any liability for damages, direct or indirect, consequential or incidental. We will communicate only negative information that is reported to Experian. We will not report negative information to the client through the monitoring service that may be reported to other agencies but is not reported to Experian. BB&T Identity Protection is not a credit counseling service and does not promise to help you obtain a loan or improve your credit record, history or rating.
3Even without an identity protection or credit monitoring service, you are entitled to a free credit report every 12 months from each of the major credit reporting agencies. Please visit the Federal Trade Commission website (www.ftc.gov) for information on these and other Fair Credit Reporting Act rights or visit www.AnnualCreditReport.com or call 877-322-8228 to obtain your reports.
