BB&T Capital Markets' Corporate Finance Interns are exposed to all of our industry groups through an organized program of deal staffing and investment banking orientation. Both Summer Analysts and Summer Associates are immersed in a variety of transactions and are expected to prepare pitches, design financial models, and prepare detailed financial analysis. As the summer progresses, interns are given Analyst and Associate duties and responsibilities, respectively.
The program also includes several weeks of orientation and training, focusing primarily on company, industry and transaction analysis, as well as presentation creation, and financial modeling.
BB&T Capital Markets seeks qualified rising undergraduate seniors for the Summer Analyst position as well as MBA candidates who have completed their first year of school for the Summer Associate position. An ideal candidate for the BB&T Capital Markets Internship Program will possess an interest in finance, strong quantitative skills, the ability to manage several projects at once and the desire to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
