What is the BB&T Visa® Gift Card?
The BB&T Visa Gift Card is a prepaid card, not a credit card. The value of the gift card is limited to the amount of money loaded on the card by the purchaser. It carries the Visa logo, like any Visa credit or check card, but because it's a prepaid card, your spending is limited to the amount of money placed on the card by the purchaser. The gift card allows you to buy what you want, when you want, at millions of merchants where Visa debit cards are accepted.
How does the BB&T Visa Gift Card work?
Using your gift card for a purchase is similar to using any Visa card. Each time you use your gift card, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from your available balance. Knowing your balance before you shop will ensure your card is accepted. You can check your balance anytime by visiting www.bbtgiftcard.com(opens in a new tab) or by calling 866-594-2076.
