Thank you for choosing BB&T for your Health Savings Account. Before applying, please use our online calculator to determine if you are eligible for a Health Savings Account.

Please have the following information ready before you begin your application:
  • Personal information - Your address, phone number, Social Security number, and a government-issued identification.
  • Funding information - If you choose to fund your account immediately by transferring funds from your bank account, you will need to have your account number and routing number as found at the bottom of your checks.
  • Beneficiary information -The names, birth dates, and Social Security numbers of your beneficiaries. You will also be asked to choose the percentages of your HSA to divide between your beneficiaries.
