There are things that every business should understand if they want to grow. Growing Your Business is a free hands-on seminar that will teach you critical financial concepts such as keeping your business and personal finances separate, cash flow fundamentals, considerations when hiring employees and more.
[MUSIC PLAYING] [SPEAKER:] I've learned that big things often have small beginnings. We are the first to arrive in the morning, the last to leave at the end of the day, and the only ones who don't get a regular paycheck.
Owning a small business requires a commitment beyond punching a clock. You're thinking about it or doing something about it all the time. Owning a small business isn't for the faint of heart. It's for the brave, the patient, and the persistent.
We know businesses have varying needs, but there are certain things all businesses need to consider. That's why BB&T has designed a hands-on class called Growing Your Business. You'll learn the most critical elements of business ownership, such as separating your personal and business finances, effectively managing your cash flow, the right technology to keep your business up-to-date, credit options to consider when the need arises, the importance of insurance, things to consider when hiring employees.
This class is no cost, and will take between one and two hours. It includes the following: A BB&T professional to act as the on-site coach for the class. An instructional video to watch, with breaks for participant discussion and exercises. A participant workbook for each attendee. An opportunity to meet and network with other business owners and share ideas.
As you progress through the class, you will be asked to complete worksheets and work with other attendees to help you master the topics presented. Plus, you will be able to ask your on-site coach questions and learn from other business owners. Your BB&T professional will work with you to set up a date and time to present this free financial knowledge class. We look forward to partnering with you to help you grow your business.
