Customize Your Profile
Learn how to update your user information, change theme colors and add a quick view of your account balances in U by BB&T®.
Welcome to the demo for customizing your profile. You can do this on your mobile phone, tablet, or laptop, but let's start with the mobile app. To edit your profile simply hit this icon here, and your profile will appear. Click the silhouette to change your profile picture. You can either choose from a BB&T stock image, take a photo of yourself, or choose from your camera roll.
Let's see. I'm going to pick this picture. There, done. You'll also notice on the phone that you have the ability to enable quick view balance here, an optional feature which will show you up to two account balances on the home screen of the mobile app before you log in. If you enable it and choose some account balances, the next time you open up your app your home screen will look something like this.
You've also got options to edit your user ID, password, and security questions. By the way, it's a good idea to change these regularly. We recommend once a year for security purposes. One other thing to point out is you can change your client service number. Adding the mobile number for your device will help streamline your service experience if you need to call us for help.
Now, on to the browser view that you'd see on a desktop, a laptop, or a tablet. Again, you'll start by clicking this icon. Notice a lot of your options are the same, with one addition. This one right here, the theme. You can change your background colors to whatever you want. Just pick an option and hit Apply. Light, dark, blue, gray, it's all up to you.
