Did You Know?
That you can turn your debit or credit card on and off whenever you want, right from the app? Well, you can. So let's say you lose your card. Don't panic. Just pull your phone, open to U app, tap Card Controls in the Accounts tile, and disable your card. Your card is instantly disabled and unusable. Then when you find your card, just go back in the U app, tap Card Controls, and turn it back on. OK, let's do one more. Teddy?
Did You Know?
That there are several new card control features that we just launched? Because there are. Let's say you want to make your debit or credit card active for only certain purchases. You can do that. Or what if you wanted your card to be active only by geographic region? You can do that, as well. You can also set spending limits and withdrawal limits, all right from our app.

Episode 1: BB&T Deals
Everybody, my name is Mike, and I work in the digital group here at the bank.
We're here to help you get the most out of U by BB&T in under 90 seconds. So today, we're going to talk about how you can get cash back by just spending money like you normally would using a feature called BB&T Deals. To show you how this works, I'm going kick it over Kristen because she sounds better than me. Kristen?
To get started with BB&T Deals, you'll need to add the tile to your dashboard, which can be found under the Add Tiles button. Once you add the deals tile and tap Get Started, you'll start seeing offers made just for you.
To activate a deal, simply select it. You'll also see all the details of that particular offer. Once activated, you can use any BB&T debit, prepaid, or personal credit card in your name to redeem the deal.
Any deal you redeem accumulates into one cashback payout that's paid monthly. So let's say I'm interested in this deal for 10% off my next purchase from Chiles. I just select the deal to activate it, and then when I pay for my meal I use my BB&T debit, prepaid, or personal credit card. That's it. I just earned 10% back automatically.
It's as simple as that--click, shop, earn. Activate BB&T Deals and start earning today.

Episode 2: My Receipts
Hey, everybody. My name is Mike, and I work in the digital group here at the bank. We're here to help you get the most out of U by BB&T in under 90 seconds. So today we're going to talk about what my wife got me for my birthday.
Giraffe pajamas, which I absolutely love because giraffes are my favorite animal. It's comfortable. It looks great obviously. Keeps my head warm. It's even got a tail, but there's one problem.
It doesn't fit. So she's got to go back to the store and get a bigger size. The good news is, she used the My Receipts feature in U by BB&T when she bought it. That captured and stored receipt for her, so the return will be much easier. Kristen, can you show us how this feature works?
To get started with My Receipts, add it to your mobile or desktop dashboard through the add tiles button. Once you add the tile to your dashboard, you'll be asked to create an at BBT docs dot com personal email address where you'll send your receipts for storage in U. If a merchant offers digital receipts, email it to your My Receipts address right from the merchant's register.
If you have a paper receipt, you can use the mobile app to add a picture of it. Once the receipt is uploaded, you can attach it to the matching transaction and update its details as needed. If you need to make a return, simply pull it up in the app and show it to the merchant for them to scan.

Episode 3: Credit Score
Hey everybody. My name's Mike and I work in the digital group here at the bank. We're here to help you get the most out of U by BB&T in under 90 seconds. Today we're going to take a question we've received from you. Teddy. can you throw me a question? Thanks, Teddy.
Today's question is from Holly in North Carolina. "I heard that you offer a free credit score in U by BB&T, but one, is it really free, and two, doesn't it hurt my score when you pull my credit?" Thanks for your question, Holly. Good news for you. It is completely free and using this feature will not hurt your credit in any way. Kristen, can you explain how to enroll in Credit Score?
Any client with the U Account can get a free, quarterly credit score. Just add the Credit Score tile with the Add Tiles button. Once the tile is loaded select Get My Score and accept the terms and conditions to enroll and your score will be ready to review. Your score comes with a personalized assessment of your unique credit situation, giving you tools, advice, and knowledge to improve it.
You'll see what tier you land in and how close you are to reaching the next one. You'll also see the top factors from your credit history that impacted your score with advice for how to score higher. And you can learn how a credit score is calculated with our Credit Score Education section.

She says, I'm not a big fan of how my debit card looks. Do you guys have any other options? Thanks for your question, Melissa, and the answer is, yes. You can personalize your card however you want to, and you can do it right from your phone. Kristin, you show us how?
Once you've logged on, access the account associated with your debit card. Tap More, select Card Settings, then select Design your Card. Choose an image from our gallery or upload one of your own.
If you want to use one of your own, zoom, flip, or rotate to make the image fit the way you want. Select Submit, and your card will be on its way to you in three to five days upon approval.

Episode 6: Customization
Hey everybody, welcome to U in 90 Seconds. Today, we've got a new segment called, Did You Know? Did you know you can customize what you see in U by BB&T based on what's important to you? Well, you can. It's all set up in these widgets or tiles. Don't care about this one? Get rid of it. Rather have this one at the top? Move it.
Also, there's more tiles you can add to your view. Just go to the add tiles button. It looks like this on your computer, it looks like this on your phone. That will give you a catalog of all the extra tiles available for you to add. All right, I think we got time for one more. Teddy?
Did you know that you can also change your color themes? Kristen, you show us how.
To change your color theme in U by BB&T, go to your profile on your desktop or tablet browser of choice and select theme. You can change your overall color scheme by selecting one of our predefined color palettes and hitting apply, and that's it. Light, dark, purple, blue, and so many more. We've got one for you.

Episode 7: Budgeting
Hey, everyone, and welcome to U in 90 seconds. Today, we're going to talk about managing your finances.
I know, sounds terrible and boring, but what if I called it budgeting?
OK, no one likes to make a budget either. That also sounds terrible. But with U by BB&T, it's less terrible. There's a section called Plan and Analyze that lets you manage all your finances in one place, even your accounts at other banks. Now, I will say, it does hurt our feelings if you've got accounts at other banks, but we forgive you.
Kristen, will you show us how this works?
First, enroll in Plan and Analyze. To set up your budget, select Budget from Plan and Analyze and create a budget. First, select the accounts you want to include. Enter your income and expenses, and then select how much you want to spend in each category per month.
Done. Once you set up your budget, you can add the Budget tile to your dashboard, and you'll be able to see how much money you have left to spend, compare your monthly goals to your actual spending, and view transactions for each budget category.

Episode 8: Alerts
[CLOCK TICKING] Welcome to U in 90 Seconds, everybody. Today we're going to talk about how you can protect yourself by setting up alerts in U by BB&T. Look, it's tough out there. It's no secret that there are bad guys who are constantly trying to steal your personal information. That's why we offer real-time alerts about your account transactions so you'll know instantly when your account's being used. If something looks suspicious, you can react quickly to stop potential fraud from taking place on your account, because chances are, you're probably not in Brazil buying a bunch of gift cards at a gas station right now.
Now some alerts are set up automatically. But to fully take advantage of all the alerts we offer, you'll need to set them up. Good news is it's fast and easy to do that. If you're in the mobile app, go to the menu and select Alerts.
If you're on a web browser, go to your profile and select Alerts. Then go to the Email and Mobile Settings page to edit or add your contact information so you can receive alerts. Next, go to Edit and Add Alerts and select your accounts. From here, just pick the alerts you want turned on, your email and mobile number, and select Submit. It's that easy.
Now that you have alerts set up, if you see a suspicious transaction, contact us right away, either by calling the number on the screen or coming to a BB&T branch. Personalizing a debit card is free to new BB&T personal debit cardholders, as well as existing BB&T personal debit cardholders who have not requested a replacement card in the past 4 years. BB&T's current personal debit card replacement process allows one replacement card at no cost during each four-year cycle, and each additional replacement card requested is subject to a $5 debit card replacement fee. For new cardholders, the four-year cycle will begin with the open date of the card.
Once a BB&T debit cardholder initiates card personalization, a new card will be issued and a $5 debit card replacement fee may be incurred. If an image is not uploaded within 10 days of initiation, a standard debit card will be issued. For existing debit cardholders, personalizing a card will generate a new debit card number. The personalized card will replace the cardholder’s existing standard debit card.
